The Bastano Amendment

Right now the Parliamentary Labour Party exercises an effective veto on who leads Labour, with 15% of the party’s MPs needed to get on the ballot. While there has been talk recently of a ‘McDonnell Amendment’ where that figure would be reduced to 5% – empowering the membership – Aaron disagrees. It should be zero.
