New details of a controversial Israeli property event coming to London, which allegedly has connections to illegal Israeli settlements, have emerged.
Emanuel Vatari, CEO of Emanuel Group, one of the sponsors of the Great Israel Real Estate Event 2026, posted a list of companies participating in the event on Tuesday. The post has since been taken down, but not before it was spotted by reporters at Middle East Eye.
The website reported that among the participants in the event are: Harey Zahav, an Israeli developer whose website advertises properties in Negohot in the Hebron Hills; the Meshulam Levinstein Group of engineering, construction and property companies which has built in settlements in the occupied West Bank; and the Tivuch Shelly real estate agency and Africa Israel Residences, which have also been involved in projects in the West Bank.
The details emerged as controversy surrounding the event reached parliament. On Tuesday, MPs called for the event to be banned.
Labour MP Richard Burgon said: “Given that the government rightly recognised the state of Palestine, surely we should now move to ban this event, which is selling off land illegally in Palestine.”
In response, foreign secretary Yvette Cooper said: “We are pursuing that particular event. If we find any cases where there are breaches of UK law, we will also pursue them. The wider issue is that nobody in the UK should be advertising illegal settlements. Nobody should be pursuing illegal settlements. No businesses or organisations should be getting involved in them.”
The organisers of the event have denied selling land in occupied territories, telling Jewish News: “All exhibitors, without exception, will provide information about properties and projects within the Green Line.
“We believe that these ridiculous allegations are motivated by anti-Israeli and terrorist supporters, seeking only excuses to attack Jews in general and the state of Israel in particular.”
The event is scheduled to take place on 14 June. Its website does not give specific details of its location, only saying it is “coming to London”.
