What’s the Hidden Unpaid Labour That Keeps the Economy Running?

Where do workers come from? Whether we’re ironing shirts, making breakfast or pairing socks, countless acts of unpaid labour contribute to our ability to go back to the office, factory or school every day.
Following their Trip episode on Cleaning, the ACFM crew take a closer look at the hidden labour that keeps the economy running. Where is the boundary between care and social reproduction? Are schools just factories for producing new workers? Can the labour of social reproduction be collectivised? And would public canteens solve 80% of our problems?
