Emily Hill AKA MLE is part of the team behind Rhythm Section and International Black, keeping things ticking over at the labels and helping to curate their regular club nights. As a DJ and radio host she holds down residencies on South London’s Balamii Radio and Noods Radio in Bristol, and can also be found working behind the counter at Soho vinyl institution, Sounds of the Universe.

BATB is a regular party run by friends who had been around the London and NY dance scenes for a long time and wanted somewhere they could dance all night to a wide range of music on an excellent analogue sound system such as you just cannot find in a London club. They wanted to put on a party that could feel as much as possible like a really great house party, while still being a public event that was open to everyone. And that’s pretty much what they’ve done..

Resis’Dance are a diverse group of women taking hold of the tech and decks and supporting under funded groups. They came together to organise amazing party nights – whilst challenging gender norms in the party and political scene.
