We Don’t Need a Low Tax Economy for the Rich

Today Labour’s draft election manifesto was leaked. Many policies in it, from eliminating tuition fees to building new social housing, will be paid through increasing tax on high income earners and the profits of large corporations. Higher tax in these areas wouldn’t make Britain the exception, it would make it normal.
